NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team completed its final round of the University of Omaha-Nebraska Invitational played at ArborLinks on Sunday.
UNI's Allison Rolinger led the Panthers with rounds of 84-79-78 at the par-72 course. Rolinger finished the three-round event with a total of 241 strokes. She had a total of six birdies during the tournament with three being in the second round which helped her to a 20th-place finish.
Maddie Bertsch recorded six birdies during the tournament with three being on the back nine of the first round. She tied for 25th after shooting 81-77-85 for the three rounds and totaled 243 strokes.
Paige Van Dyk totaled four birdies for the Panthers which led her to card 82-85-77 for all three rounds. Van Dyk tied for 30th with 244 strokes overall.
South Dakota State won the tournament with a three-round total of 891 strokes. North Dakota State grabbed second place with 916 and South Dakota placed third with 934. UNI finished in eighth place overall with rounds of 326-325-322 and 973 total strokes.
