SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team secured a sixth-place team finish at the 2016 Twin Oaks Intercollegiate hosted by the Missouri State Bears.

UNI's three-day total of 900 was two strokes out of fourth place. Central Arkansas won the team event with a score of 874.

UNI's Dustin Atkinson notched his fifth top-10 finish of the season with a sixth-place showing in the 54-hole event. Atkinson shot a final round 73 for a total of 218 for the tournament. Atkinson scored two birdies in his final round at No. 4 and No. 10.

Kyle Driscoll shot his lowest round of the tournament with a final-round 69. Driscoll's two-under round put him into a tie for 10th for the tournament. It is the fourth time this season that Driscoll has finished in the top 10. Driscoll netted an eagle at the par-5 10th and then scored birdies at No. 2, No. 3, No. 8 and No. 13.

Eric Sikkema added 11 more pars on Tuesday to give him 36 total pars for the event. Sikkema tied for 41st in the final standings with a 78 on Tuesday.

David Spengler tied for 44th after securing a pair of birdies at No. 3 and No. 6 in his final round. Spengler shot 82 for a three-round total of 233.

Jacob Bermel finished 48th as he shot 78 in his final round. Bermel recorded a birdie at No. 5 and finished the 54-hole event with 235 strokes.
