DALLAS, Texas - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team placed 14th at the 2016 Bob Sitton Invitational. The three-round tournament was played at the TPC Four Seasons golf course.

UNI recorded a third-round team total of 303. UNI finished the three-day event with rounds of 311-299-303 (913). Long Beach State secured the team title with a final score of 285-288-294 (867).

UNI's Dustin Atkinson tied for the fifth in the individual race with a final round of 68. Atkinson poured in four birdies on the day at No. 7, No. 11, No. 16 and No. 18. Atkinson had a three-round total of 216 (74-74-68).

Kyle Driscoll tied for 17th after he posted a final round 74. Driscoll tallied birdies at No. 3 and No. 11 in the third round. Driscoll led the Panthers with nine birdies in the three-day event. Driscoll had rounds of 75-69-74 (220).

Jacob Bermel notched four birdies on Thursday as he scored a final-round 79. Bermel tied for 77th in the event with a three-round total of 75-83-79 (237).j
