The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team completed its fall season with its final round on Sunday at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic in Lahaina, Hawaii. The tournament was played at the Ka'anapali Golf Course. UNI scored rounds of 308-309-309 (926) and placed 19th in the event.
Oklahoma won the team team title with rounds of 276-281-280 (837).
UNI's Kyle Driscoll earned the best individual finish for the Panthers as he tied for 54th in the 54-hole event. Driscoll buried birdies on Sunday at No. 6, No. 12 and No. 18 as he posted an even-par 71. Driscoll led the Panthers with eight birdies over the three days.
Dustin Atkinson tied for 59th as he carded a third-round 73. Atkinson drained 14 pars and recorded his only birdie of the final round on No. 16. Atkinson led the Panthers with 35 pars in the event.
Eric Sikkema shot an 82 on Sunday and tied for 98th in the tournament. Sikkema scored a birdie on No. 7 in the final round.
David Spengler sank a birdie on No.4 and finished with an 85 in the final round. Jacob Bermel fired an 83 on Sunday to tie for 95th in the event.
