The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team placed third at the Whistling Straits Intercollegiate played at the Irish Course in Sheboygan, Wis.
UNI senior Kyle Driscoll registered his third consecutive top-10 finish by tying for fourth in the event.
Driscoll scored rounds of 74-72-77 (+7) in the two-day event. Driscoll buried a trio of birdies on Tuesday at No. 9, No. 14 and No. 18. Driscoll posted a score of 4-under on the par-5s for the tournament, which tied him for the third best total in the field. Driscoll and teammate Dustin Atkinson tied for the third in the field with 32 pars in the 54-hole event. Atkinson finished 25th in the tournament with scores of 75-79-81 (+19).
Jacob Bermel added five birdies on Tuesday at No. 3, No. 6, No. 9, No. 10 and No. 14, His 10 birdies in the tournament tied him for sixth-best among the competitors. Bermel tied for 17th with rounds of 72-84-75 (+15).

Eric Sikkema provided three birdies in his final round 78. Sikkema carded his birdies at No. 2, No. 12 and No. 18. Sikkema posted scores of 76-89-78 (+27).
UNI finished third with team scores of 297-312-305 (914). Towson won the team title with scores of 295-295-317 (907). Green Bay placed second after posting rounds of 299-299-315 (913).
