
Panthers Finish Day 2 At Iowa Invitational

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The UNI Women's swimming and diving team finished the second day of competition at the Iowa Invitational on the University of Iowa campus. After two days of competition, the Panthers sit in ninth place with 54 points.
Caryn Knight was the top performer for the Panthers. She took 20th in the 400 IM with a time of 4:41.88. Knight also clocked in with a time of 1:09.33 in the 100 breaststroke, finishing in 24th place.
Josie Itzen finished in 23rd in the 400 IM. She finished with a time of 4:43.55.
In the 100 breaststroke, Sarah Hedeen took 23rd with a time of 1:09.26.
The 200 medley relay team of Jody Petersen, Ashley Mangrich, Kayla McCormick and MacKenzie Smith took tenth. They finished in a time of 1:52.86.
Knight, Itzen, Stephanie Yattoni and Chelsea Hartman clocked in with a time of 8:09.49, snatching 13th place.
