2010-11: Finished 19th in 500 freestyle, 13th in 100 backstroke and 11th in 200 backstroke at the MVC Championships.
2009-10: Had the second-best time for the team in the 100 meter backstroke, 200 meter backstroke and 100 meter butterfly...took 14th in the 100 meter backstroke, 15th in the 200 meter backstroke and 20th in the 100 meter butterfly.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time state qualifier...First team All-state in 2007...Four-year letter holder...Holds school record in 200 medley relay...Also participated in choir.
PERSONAL: Born Aug. 7, 1991, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa...Daughter of Todd and Sherry Petersen...Has a brother, Hayden...Chose UNI because it is close to home, has a fun atmosphere and the swim team is close...Majoring in mathematics.
