The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team placed seventh overall the 2010 Oral Roberts Shootout. UNI posted a three-round total of 954, while Tulsa took the team title with a three-round score of 908.
It was junior Blair Bonner who held the lead for the Panthers scoring 72-78-81—231 and tied for 12th in the individual standings. Brittany Atterbury and Sarah Boss both tied for 29th totaling 239, Katie Tabbert tied for 48th with 245, and Abby Bermel tied for 74th with 256.
In this tournament Sarah Boss saw her first action of the year as a redshirt freshman and did well on the 72 par course.
The Panthers will next travel to Erie, Colo., on Oct. 8-9 to participate in the Heather Farr/CU Memorial Invitational.
