In the last seven minutes, Coleman and Josten combined for 17 of UNI's 19 points. Coleman had 10 points and Josten seven down the stretch, including the pair combining to connect on 9-of-11 free throws to power the Panthers to the victory.
Bradley scored the game's opening basket, but the Panthers took a 5-2 lead after a Kerwin Dunham three-pointer from the left corner. Bradley's Sam Maniscalco hit a layup to pull the Braves within 5-4, but UNI then went on a 14-0 run over the next 10 minutes to move in front 19-5. Bradley was forced to foul and UNI made its free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.
UNI shot 41percent from the field on the night, and held a commanding edge in rebounding, 45-27. The Panthers held Bradley to just 32 percent shooting for the game, including 6-for-29 from three-point range. Maniscalco led Bradley with 15 points.
