Jacob Manderscheid joined UNI Athletics as the facilities and operations coordinator in March 2022.
Manderscheid already had years of experience in UNI Athletics with his work as a student employee and manager. A recent graduate of UNI, Manderscheid supervised student workers from 2019-2022. He also had been a UNI Athletics facility assistant since June 2021. He is a native of Marion, Iowa.
Manderscheid serves as the operations lead for the McLeod Center, supervising visiting crews in the production of sporting and entertainment events and providing oversight of support services, maintenance, custodial services, concessions set up and tear down, and security.
He also oversees outdoor athletic facility management and the maintenance of all outdoor practice and competition facilities in collaboration with the physical plant and city of Cedar Falls.
