Ann Arns joined the UNI athletic department in Oct. 2017 as Athletic Operations Coordinator, where she oversees daily operations of the athletic department with administrative tasks to assisting in team management.
Arns earned her bachelor's degree in physical and elementary education from Drake in 1985 before taking on a teaching position at Waverly-Shell Rock High School for 14 years. After earning a master's degree in teaching and coaching from UNI in 1992, Arns received an education specialist degree from Drake in 2002. Arns also served as chair of the HPEA Committee at Wartburg College in Waverly from 1999 to 2017.
Arns currently resides in Waverly, Iowa with her husband Dave.
