FRESHMAN (2016-17): Redshirted ... won the Pat "Flash" Flanagan, Grand View and Duhawk opens at 133 pounds ... placed fifth in the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open at 133 pounds ... finished the season with a record of 15-2 in four tournaments at 133 pounds for the Panthers.
HIGH SCHOOL: Intermat ranked him as high as No. 4 in the nation among preps at 126 pounds ... won his third title at the Illinois state meet as a senior ... he finished undefeated his junior season at 46-0, beating a prep athlete looking to earn his fourth title ... state champion at 106 pounds as a freshman ... fourth at 113 pounds as a sophomore.
