2013-14: Posted a 10-9 mark in singles play, including a 9-5 mark in tournament action ... went 8-11 in doubles action ... tallied a 2-4 doubles mark in dual play with both wins coming at No. 3 doubles when she was paired with UNI's all-time doubles' wins leader Krissy Lankelma ... Kearney and Lankelma posted a 3-1 mark at the Drake tournament (Sept. 13-14) ... she went 1-4 in singles dual action with the victory coming over Upper Iowa's Laura Alvaraz, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
High School: Kearney was a two-year team MVP at Mater Dei High School in Irvine, Calif. Kearney was ranked in the top 100 players of the USTA’s Southern California region. She is a four-year varsity letterwinner and won the Trinity League doubles crown in 2009. She earned the teams’ Coaches Award in 2012 and served as team captain in 2013.
Personal: She is the daughter of Kevin and Stacy Kearney.
