2017-18: Season best finish in the 1000 free against Western Illinois, earning fourth place (11.25.68)....Best time in the 200 and 500 freestyles against South Dakota State, swimming a 2:06.44 and 5.35.46 respectively
High School: State Qualifier in 2014 and 2015...Team Captain 2016….A-Honor Roll 2013-15 and 2016-17….Four varsity letters in swimming….One letter in soccer
Personal: Born on March 9, 1999 in Waterloo, Iowa….Daughter of Jeremy and Sarah Barkema….Three siblings: KJ, Tiegan and Moses….Cousin of Austin Pehl (UNI Men’s Basketball) and Jordan Limbaugh (UNI Football)....Majoring in Marketing….Hobbies include: being outside, being with family and friends and working at IRBC
