2015: INDOOR: Ran a huge personal-best in the finals of the 60 meter hurdles of 8.19 at the MVC Indoor Championships (2/28), scoring team points … scored another PR in the long jump at the Panther Open (1/17) of 23-2.50 for the individual win.
2015: OUTDOOR: Recorded a personal-best performance in the 110 meter hurdles at the Musco Invitational (5/2) with a time of 14.58 … had a season-best in the long jump at the Gibson Invite (4/16) with a mark of 21-6.25 and a top-10 finish ... was named to the MVC Honor Roll.
2014: INDOOR: Notched a career-best in the 60 meter hurdles at the MVC Indoor Track and Field Championships (3/1), running a time of 8.28 … also grabbed a career-best in the long jump at the Jack Jennett Invite (1/31) for a leap of 22-10.50.
2014: OUTDOOR: Ran a season-best time in the 110 meter hurdles at the ESU Spring Open (3/29) with a time of 15.29 … finished in the top-10 in the long jump at the Jim Duncan Invitational (4/11) … qualified for the finals in the 110 meter hurdles at the Mark Messersmith Invitational (5/9).
2013: INDOOR: Notched a season-best in the 200 meters at the Jack Jennett Invite (1/25) with a time of 24.08 … ran a time of 8.77 in the 60 meter hurdles at the Dome Open (2/15).
2013: OUTDOOR: Competed in three meets during the outdoor season … finished with a season-best time of 23.91 in the 200 meters at the Jim Duncan Invite (4/12).
High School: Lettered in track and field all four years at Raytown South High School ... was named to the all-conference squad in 2010, 2011 and 2012 ... selected to the all-district team in 2010, 2011 and 2012 ... named to the all-state and all-metro team in 2010 ... was a state qualifier in 2010, finishing third overall … helped lead his team to conference titles in 2011 and 2012 as a team captain ... also lettered in football for two years.
Personal: Son of Tonia Potts ... majoring in business management ... was a part of the Principals Honor Roll from 2010 to 2012.
