2015: INDOOR: Finished second overall at the Iowa Big 4 Duals (1/24) with a height of 14-9.00 ... scored a season-best mark at the UNI-Dome Open (2/20) with a mark of 14-11.00.
2015: OUTDOOR: Recorded a career-best 15-10.00 mark in the pole vault at the Wisconsin Open (5/8) for sixth place ... also gained a mark of 15-2.75 at the MVC Championships (5/15).
2014: INDOOR: Notched a season-best height of 15-1.00 at the UNI-Dome Open (2/21) to place second overall … also finished with a height of 14-9.00 twice during the season, including at the MVC Indoor Championships (3/1).
2014: OUTDOOR: Finished with a season-best height of 15-4.50 at the Wartburg Outdoor Twilight (4/22) for a second place finish overall … finished in third place overall at the Mark Messersmith Invitational (5/9) … was named to the MVC Honor Roll.
2013: INDOOR: Competed in the pole vault six times during the indoor season … notched a personal-best height at the MVC Indoor Championships with a mark of 15-9.25 to place sixth overall and score team points.
2013: OUTDOOR: Earned a season-best mark in the pole vault at the MVC Outdoor Championships (5/10) of 15-5.50 … finished seventh in the pole vault at the MVC Championships, earning team points as a true freshman.
High School: Lettered in track and field for four years at Metamora Township High School ... was all-conference his sophomore, junior and senior years ... was named the team captain his senior year ... set the school record in the pole vault, 300 intermediate hurdles and the 4X400 meter relay during his senior year ... helped his team to a conference title his freshman, junior and senior years ... won sectionals as a senior ... also lettered in soccer for three years.
Personal: Fenner is the son of Pete and Sally Fenner ... has two siblings, James and David … majoring in movement and exercise science with a minor in coaching.
