Rachel Ronan joined UNI's strength and conditioning staff in the spring of 2023 and oversees the development of the Panthers' softball, soccer and volleyball teams.
A native of Dyersville, Iowa, Ronan earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Loras College in Dubuque in 2013, where she played a year of softball and three years of basketball for the Duhawks. She also gained valuable experience in strength and conditioning through internships at Loras, as well as Stanford University.
Following her time as an undergraduate student, Ronan became a graduate assistant at the University of Montana, where she earned her master's degree in health and human performance in 2016. A certified strength and conditioning specialist, she most recently served as Montana's Assistant Director of Athletic Performance and an adjunct professor with the university's Health and Human Performance Department.

Ronan currently resides in Cedar Falls, Iowa with her husband Brandon, who also serves on the strength and conditioning staff at UNI.
