Ryen Perry joined the UNI men’s basketball staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2026.
A native of Orange County in California, Perry played guard for two years at Fullerton College (CA), helping the Hornets to a 47-10 record and two regional tournament appearances. He would graduate with an associate’s degree in business administration and management from Fullerton in 2021.
After transferring to San Jose State and joining the team as a student manager, Perry joined the Spartans roster for the 2022-23 season where he appeared in ten games, including the second round of the 2023 College Basketball Invitational (CBI). He would also make eight appearances for SJSU during the 2023-24 season.
Following his playing career and a bachelor’s degree in business administration at San Jose State, Perry returned to Fullerton as an assistant coach for the 2025-26 campaign, helping the Hornets with the California Community College Athletic Association’s (CCCAA) state championship after a 32-1 season and 14-0 run through conference play.
