2017: Played in all but one game for the Panthers, with his lone miss due to injury... was the starter for all 12 games he played in... threw for 2,704 passing yards, while tossing 26 touchdowns threw the air which ranked for the fourth-most in a season at UNI... completed 224-of-358 passes in 2017, ranking as the fourth-most in a season at UNI... Dunne's 62.5% completion percentage was the best for UNI since 2007... had eight games with at least two passing touchdowns, while earning three games with four touchdowns... opened the season with a 23-for-38, 259 yards and three touchdown game against Iowa State (9/2)... threw a career-high four touchdowns against Cal Poly (9/9), while earning 325 yards threw the air... earned a season-high 342 yards passing against Western Illinois (10/7), while tossing four touchdowns against the Leathernecks... shredded Monmouth (11/25) in the opening round of the FCS Playoffs, going 18-of-26 for 260 yards and four touchdowns before being pulled at halftime... was named the CFPA FCS National Performer of the Week (11/26) after his game against Monmouth (11/25).
2016: Saw action in five games, starting four ... threw for a career-high 418 yards in UNI's win against Missouri State (10/22), earning MVFC and national player of the week honors ... was the first UNI quarterback to throw for 400-plus yards since 2009 ... finished the game against the Bears 25-33-0, completing his first 12 passes of the game ... threw a career-long 61-yard touchdown pass against Missouri State ... went 20-39-4 against #4 North Dakota State (10/29) for two touchdowns ... had 209 yards and two touchdowns against #18 Western Illinois (11/12) ... threw for 28-44-3 and 295 yards against #8 South Dakota State (11/19).
2015: Played in four games as a reserve quarterback … finished the season with six completions for 50 yards, averaging 16.0 yards per completion … went 4-7-0 for 38 yards in UNI’s season-opener at Iowa State (9/5) … had two completions for 12 yards along with a rushing touchdown in UNI’s win over Missouri State (11/14).

High School: Played football at Grinnell High School for Jim Dunne … earned All-State quarterback three times during his high school career … was voted team captain and team MVP in 2012 and 2013 … named to the Iowa Newspaper Association third team in 2011 and first team in 2012 and 2013 … selected to the Des Moines Register first team in 2012 and second team in 2013 … was a three-year All-District and Academic All-District honoree … was also an IFCA academic All-State selection in 2013 ... holds eight Grinnell High School records and is fourth on the all-time Iowa career passing list with 8,107 yards … is also sixth all-time in the state of Iowa in completions (538) and 10th all-time in career touchdowns (75) … was the state of Iowa’s 2014 Iowa Wendy’s Heisman Award winner … was selected to play for the south squad in the 2014 Iowa Shrine Bowl … also lettered in basketball and baseball and holds the Grinnell career rebounding record.
