2017: Played in all 13 games for UNI, starting 12 times at defensive tackle... finished seventh on the team in tackles, collecting 48 on the year... ranked third on the team in tackles for loss, after earning 8.0... earned a season-high nine tackles against Cal Poly (9/9), with eight of those tackles being assists... earned five tackles against Southern Utah (9/16), while also earning 1/5 tackles for loss... collecting five tackles in a win over South Dakota (11/4), while also forcing his first fumble of the season... recorded his lone sack of the season against Missouri State (11/11)... recorded a season-high five solo tackles against South Dakota State (12/2), while also earning a pass breakup against the Jackrabbits.
2016: Played in all 11 games, starting nine on the defensive line ... recorded 26 tackles including 5.5 for a loss of 10 yards ... had two solo tackles and a tackle for loss against #14 Montana (9/10) ... racked up three tackles in UNI's homecoming win over Southern Illinois (10/1) ... had a season-high four tackles, including a tackle for a loss of three yards and a forced fumble against #4 North Dakota State (10/29) ... had three tackles and a quarterback hurry in UNI's win at Indiana State (11/5) ... tied his season-high in tackles with four against #8 South Dakota State (11/19).
2015: Saw action in three games for the Panthers as a reserve defensive lineman and on special teams … recorded an assisted tackle against #4 Illinois State (10/3) … also had two tackles and a hand in a tackle for loss in UNI’s win over Missouri State (11/14).
Prior to UNI: Was a member of the University of Illinois football team ... redshirted in 2013 due to injury.
High School: Three-star recruit by Rivals, Scout, ESPN and 247 Sports ... ranked the No. 17 player in the state of Illinois by Scout ... as a senior, had 58 tackles, 10 quarterback sacks, 22 tackles for loss, one interception and one forced fumble ... two-time Southwest Prairie Conference Defensive Player of the Year ... earned all-state honors from the Champaign News-Gazette, American Family Insurance All-State Team, Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Class 7A and Chicago Tribune.
Personal: Parents are Bruce and Madge Douglas ... majoring in communication ... father, Bruce, played basketball at Illinois, with his jersey hung at the State Farm Center and was Big Ten co-MVP in 1984 before playing in the NBA.
