2018: Finished 2nd at the Bradley Intercollegiate Championships with a 3-mile time of 17:05.5... Finished 48th at the Roy Griak Invitational with a 6K time of 22:36.5... Finished 77th at the Bradley Pink Classic with a time of 21:59.1... Earned All-Conference honors with a 12th-place finish at the Missouri Valley Conference with a career-best time of 3.1-mile time of 17:45.5... Finished 86th at the NCAA Midwest Region with a 6K time of 21:58.5.
2017: Won MVC Freshman of the Year and All-MVC honors in her first season as a Panther… Placed 11th overall in her first event at UNI, clocking a time of 22:39.0 at the Mayflower Day Open 6K (Sept. 16)… Finished 20th overall at the Joe Piane Invite 5K (Sept. 29), posting a time of 17:49.1… Named MVC Freshman of the Year after finishing 10th at the conference championship (Oct. 28)… Cole ran a time of 17:51.5 in the MVC Championship 5K to earned the Freshman of the Year award, while also claiming All-MVC honors as well.

PERSONAL: Born McKayla Jo Cole on Oct. 29, 1998… Native of Charles City, Iowa… Daughter of Brad and Heidi Cole… Has one sibling, Taylor Cole… Majoring in exercise science… Member of the honor roll at her high school… Chose UNI because she has always loved it since elementary school… Hopes to become a personal trainer and a high school track and field coach.
