ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) announced their Golfers of the Week onThursday morning, naming Tanner Dinnebier the Men's Golfer of the Week.
Tanner Dinnebier led UNI in scoring at the Bluejay Invitational with a five-under score of 211 over three rounds. He was one stroke off of first place, carding a 74-68-69, turning it up on rounds two and three. This is his lowest placement on the leaderboard since the WIU Intercollegiate last year, where he also finished second. His two rounds in the 60s are his first of the season.
Dinnebier carded four birdies and an eagle in his third round, clinching a second-place finish in Omaha. Over the three-round tournament, the senior finished with 11 total birdies and an eagle.
UNI men's golf heads to Madison, Illinois for the SIUE Dolenc Invitational on September 28-29.
