UNI Men’s Golf’s Tanner Dinnebier named MVC Men’s Golfer of the Week

ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) announced its Golfers of the Week on Friday morning, and UNI's Tanner Dinnebier was named the Valley's Men's Golfer of the Week.
After a strong performance at the WIU Intercollegiate at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, last week, Dinnebier led UNI to a second-place finish, the team's best finish of the season. Shooting a -4, 209, Dinnebier set a career-low in the third round of action, carding a 64 (-7), the second-best round in UNI men's golf history. Dinnebier tallied 14 birdies over the two-day tournament, carding eight of those in round three.
This is UNI's first Golfer of the Week selection since Connor Van Weelden was named Men's Golfer of the Week in October of 2024. It is Dinnebier's first weekly award.
