ST. LOUIS --- The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) on Friday announced the members of its women's swimming and diving scholar-athlete teams for the 2025-26 season.
Swimmers Elyse Brayton, Aspen Cole and Sam Oeltjen, along with divers Avery Hogan, Erica Peters and Trista Thompson were all selected to this year's team.
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must have completed at least one year at their MVC institution and be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically (redshirt freshmen are not eligible). Additionally, they must be an All-MVC performer with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average (GPA), compete in at least four meets during the season, or placed in the top-eight of an individual event or top-three in a relay at the MVC Championships.
The Panthers finished fifth out of nine teams at this year's MVC Championships in Evansville with one individual champion. Hogan placed first in the three-meter diving competition and second in one-meter action to be named MVC Diver of the Year. Additionally, Hogan and Peters both represented UNI at the NCAA Diving Zones earlier this week in College Station, Texas.
