Tanner Dinnebier named MVC Men’s Golfer of the Week

ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) announced its Golfers of the Week on Thursday afternoon, naming Tanner Dinnebier the Men's Golfer of the Week for the second consecutive week.
At the SIUE Dolenc Invitational, Dinnebier led the way for the third time this season for the Panthers, putting together the best round of his career. He fired a 203 (-10) over the three rounds, winning the tournament by one stroke, UNI's first outright tournament champion since 2017, and first tournament champion since 2022. Last season, Dinnebier fired off four total rounds in the 60s. At the Dolenc, he put together three-straight rounds in the 60s (68-67-68), the first time a Panther has had all three rounds of a tournament in the 60s since Jordan Weber at the Agua-Caliente Invite in 2007 (67-67-64).
