
UNI cross country announces 2025 meet schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI cross country team on Monday unveiled its meet schedule for the upcoming 2025 season.
Entering the third full season under head coach Alex Teubel, the Panthers will open the 2025 campaign on Aug. 29 at Iowa State's Cyclone Preview before visiting Normal for Illinois State's Redbird Invite on Sept. 12. Northern Iowa will also make the trip south to Columbia for the Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 26, hosted by Missouri University.
October begins for the Panthers with a short trip up to Waverly for Wartburg's Dan Hutson Invite on Oct. 4, followed by a mid-month visit to Peoria for Bradley University's Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 17.
The 2025 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championships head to southern Indiana at the Angel Mounds Course on Oct. 31, hosted by the University of Evansville. Postseason action continues on Nov. 14 as UNI will travel to Stillwater, Oklahoma for the NCAA Midwest Regionals, hosted by Oklahoma State University. Qualified athletes will then compete at the NCAA Championships on Nov. 22 at Missouri.
