Dalecka and Cardoso named MVC Doubles Team of the Week

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The UNI women's tennis team is ranked sixth in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) standings with a 2-3 conference record and 5-13 overall.
This week's MVC Doubles Team of the Week honors went to Darta Dalecka and Lorena Cardoso, following an impressive stretch of play. The Panther duo is 10-10 overall in doubles competition this season and currently riding a three-match win streak in MVC play where the duo picked up dominant wins over Valparaiso, UIC, and Bradley in their recent matches.
UNI will wrap up the regular season with three final matches - starting with Drake on Saturday, April 12 before hosting Murray State on Friday, April 18, and Missouri State on Saturday, April 19, at the UNI Tennis Complex.
