Hedeman, Gunderson place second at Jim Koch Open

KENOSHA, Wisc. --- The UNI wrestling team finished with four podium placements at the Jim Koch Open on Saturday in Wisconsin.
With eight technical fall victories and a first period fall by John Gunderson (197 pounds), the Panthers collected sixteen total wins to close out their competition.
The Panthers were led by Jace Hedeman (133 pounds) and Gunderson, who both earned second place finishes in their respective weight classes. Logan Paradice (149 pounds) wrapped up his day with a fourth place finish, while Max Brady (141 pounds) secured sixth place after an injury in consolation round five.
UP NEXT
The Panthers return to action tomorrow at the Cougar Clash, hosted by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Illinois. Competition is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT at First Community Arena with live results available on FloWrestling.
