Larsen, the two-time defending Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) champion in the 50-yard freestyle, also won the event in UNI's dual with Illinois State, setting a new pool record with a time of 23.39 seconds. Brayton also topped the podium for the Panthers in the 100-yard backstroke (57.76), while Chambers also won the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:35.76).
