Brooke Croshier-Sidebotham named to 2024-25 CEFMA Board of Directors

CLEVELAND --- The Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) has announced its membership for its Board of Directors, as well as its officers for the 2024-25 membership year.

Brooke Croshier-Sidebotham, UNI's Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations was selected as one of nine board members for this year. Brad Brown, meanwhile, chief operations officer at Clemson IPATY, was elected president.

Part of the UNI Athletics staff since 2013, Croshier-Sidebotham is responsible for the management, promotion and operation of UNI's athletic facilities and operations. She also serves as a Cedar Valley tourism and visitors board member and as a Cedar Valley hospitality partner committee member.

Croshier-Sidebotham previously served as the Associate Director of Event Management at Iowa State University beginning in August 2008. At ISU, she assisted with game day operations for the Cyclones' sporting events as well as coordinated all event services including trade shows, conferences, career fairs, special rentals and concerts.

At Iowa State, she was the recipient of the inaugural J. Elaine Hieber Leadership Award in 2011, given to an Iowa State female athletics staff member for their valuable contributions to the department and to pursue enrichment opportunities in collegiate athletics.

She also spent four years working in the University of Akron's athletic department in the Zips' athletics facilities and operation office. Croshier-Sidebotham also served two years as an intern at the University of Iowa in facilities and event management areas from 2002-2004.

She played collegiate basketball and earned her bachelor's of science degree in sports and recreation management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2002. She also gained her master's degree in sports management from the University of Iowa in 2004.
