UNI football to host 2024 Pro Day on March 18

Panthers prepare to show off skills in combine drills on Monday afternoon. Event free and open to the public.
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI football team will host its 2024 Pro Day to give professional scouts an opportunity to see the athleticism of Panthers eligible for next month's NFL Draft.
Fans and media are invited to the event inside the UNI-Dome, as well as the Wellness and Recreation Center set to start at 2 p.m. CT on Monday, March 18.Â
Eight Panthers are expected to participate in the standard NFL Combine drills, including Woo Governor, Khristian Boyd, Cordarrius Bailey, Sam Schnee, Matthew Cook, Theo Day, Devin Rice and Caden Houghtelling.
The athletes will run through standard drills, including the 40-yard dash, cone drills, jumps, and the bench press, as well as other positional workouts. Bench press and vertical jump drills will be held in UNI's Wellness and Recreation Center weight room. Representatives from multiple NFL teams are expected to be in attendance.
The 2024 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25-27 in Detroit, Michigan.
