Panther football standouts show off skills at 2026 Pro Day

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Scouts representing multiple NFL franchises were in attendance on the UNI campus on Monday afternoon as UNI football held its annual Pro Day. Panther athletes were measured and completed the bench press, vertical jump, and broad jump inside the Wellness Recreation Center before heading to the UNI-Dome for the 40-yard dash, three-cone drill, and shuttle run.
Seven Panther athletes from last season, as well as a former Panther, were drilled in front of scouts and the UNI team ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.
The lone offensive lineman of the group, Blake Anderson, opened Pro Day with 27 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Anderson recorded a 24-inch vertical and a 7-7 broad jump before speed and agility drills. After a 5.65 40-yard dash, the offensive lineman ran a 5.02 shuttle and an 8.19 three-cone.
UNI tight end Derek Anderson entered Pro Day after an FCS Showcase appearance in January in Nashville, Tennessee, ahead of the 2026 FCS Championship game. Anderson opened his pro day with 20 reps on the bench press and a 30-inch vertical in the WRC. On the field, Anderson jumped 9-7 before running a 4.9 40, a 4.5 shuttle, and a 7.16 three cone.
One of two linebackers in the Pro Day class, Caleb Frazer recorded 22 reps on the bench press and a 36-inch vertical, as well as a 10-2 broad jump. Frazer ran a 4.66 40 to go along with a 4.28 shuttle and a 6.98 three cone.
Tucker Langenberg was the other linebacker of the group, repping out 21 reps on the bench press before a 34-inch vertical jump and a 9-5 broad jump. In the field, Langenberg ran a 4.85 40, a 4.36 shuttle, and a 7.16 three cone.
Cornerback Mo Olowo opened his 2026 Pro Day with 12 reps on the bench press and a 33-inch vertical. After a 9-11 broad jump, Olowo ran a 4.53 40-yard dash, the fastest in the class. He ran times of 4.41 and 6.97 in the shuttle and three cone, respectively.
Jonathan Cabral-Martin totaled 19 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press before a 35.5-inch vertical and a 10-2 broad jump. After a 4.67 40, Cabral-Martin ran a 4.26 shuttle and a 6.95 three cone, both the fastest times of current Panthers on Pro Day.
The final current UNI athlete to participate in UNI's Pro Day was running back Bill Jackson. Jackson opened Pro Day with 13 reps on the bench press and a 29-inch vertical. After a 9-5 broad jump, Jackson ran a 4.72 40, as well as a 4.46 shuttle and a 7.33 three cone.
Former Panther cornerback Robbie Peterson Jr. was back in Cedar Falls after testing in the 2025 Pro Day as well. The corner completed 18 reps on the bench press and jumped an impressive 39 inches in the vertical and 10-9 in the broad jump. Peterson Jr. ran a 4.63 40 to go along with a 4.25 shuttle.
