Panther wrestling takes down No. 15 Missouri

UNI earns second top-15 dual win of the year. Panthers head to Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational in early December.
HARTLAND, Wisc. --- The tenth-ranked UNI wrestling team captured seven of ten wins, including a pair of bonus point victories to defeat No. 15 Missouri in Big 12 dual action on Tuesday night at Arrowhead High School in the Milwaukee suburbs.
The dual, held at the high school and in the hometown of Missouri All-American Keegan O'Toole, is the second dual win for the Panther Train in the last three days and their second against a top-15 ranked challenger.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Kyle Gollhofer dropped the first bout of the night with a 4-0 loss against Gage Walker at the 125 pounds weight class. Cory Land got the Panthers on the board at 133 pounds against No. 31/31 Kade Moore, earning an early takedown in the first period en route to a 5-2 decision.
No. 6/6 Cael Happel fought head-to-head against No. 18/12 Josh Edmond, securing a 4-2 victory, improving 7-0 on the season. Adam Allard would come up short against No. 23/14 Logan Gioffre at 149 pounds, falling 3-1 in a close contest. Following the intermission, No. 6/6 Ryder Downey dominated James Conway with a 15-0 shutout to secure UNI's first bonus point win in a dual this year in four minutes, 38 seconds.
No. 30 Jack Thomsen defeated Joel Mylin 4-2 at 165 pounds, securing a late takedown in the third period to extend the Panther lead. Nick Fox made his collegiate dual debut against two-time NCAA champion and top-ranked O'Toole, but ultimately fell in a 14-2 major decision in a tough match at 174 pounds.Â
At 184 pounds, reigning national champion and second-ranked Parker Keckeisen notched his 33rd straight regular season victory with a commanding 17-4 major decision win over No. 10/8 Colton Hawks to put the Panthers back on track in the team scoring. No. 16/19 Wyatt Voelker edged Aeoden Sinclair for his first dual win of the year at 197 pounds, while No. 27/25 Lance Runyon stayed unbeaten on the year with his seventh victory of the season in a 6-1 decision over No. 20/19 Seth Nitzel.
