UNI football garners 55 MVFC Honor Roll selections

18 Panthers also earn the Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award, with 4 earning President's Council Academic honors.

ST. LOUIS --- A total of 55 UNI football student-athletes were recognized by the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) for their academic success in the classroom on Thursday as the league announced its annual honor roll recipients for the 2022 season.

The MVFC honored athletes with three different awards. Four Panthers earned the President's Council Academic Award for maintaining a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher during the fall 2022 semester. 18 members of the UNI roster earned recognition with the Commissioners' Academic Excellence Awards for posting a 3.20 cumulative GPA, while 55 athletes on the 2022 roster earned a spot on the league's honor roll for maintaining a 3.00 GPA.

This year's MVFC honor roll is made up of more than 700 student-athletes from the league's 11 teams.
