CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI volleyball begins the final week of the non-conference schedule on Tuesday night as the Panthers travel to Ames to take on the Iowa State Cyclones at Hilton Coliseum.

The Panthers visit their in-state rival following an unbeaten weekend and home tournament title in Cedar Falls. UNI picked up victories over Western Michigan, Southeast Missouri State and Grand Canyon on Friday and Saturday in the first home matches of the season. Tuesday's matchup marks the first matchup of the season in which the Panthers will face Iowa State, Iowa and Drake in the same year since 2005.

Emily Holterhaus led the Panther offense in the UNI Tournament with 45 kills, earning tournament MVP honors, while setter Tayler Alden and middle blocker Olivia Tjernagel also earned All-Tournament recognition. Baylee and Sydney Petersen each tied their respective career-highs in service aces over the weekend

IOWA STATE CYCLONES
- The Cyclones enter Tuesday's matchup the winners of 4 straight matches, including their last three over Drake, Iowa and Wright State in the Cardinal & Gold Challenge last weekend, each by a score of 3-1.
- Iowa State finished the 2021 season with a 16-12 record and 8-8 mark in Big 12 play. ISU earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, falling to No. 18 Stanford in the first round in Minneapolis.
- A stellar defensive team, the Cyclones rank 5th in the nation in total blocks with 75.

PANTHER NOTES
- UNI holds a narrow 34-31 lead in the all-time series against the Cyclones. The Panthers are 8-13 against ISU under head coach Bobbi Petersen, and are in search of their first win against the Cyclones since a five-set victory in Ames on Sept. 12, 2017.
- Inga Rotto and Emily Holterhaus have not missed a match in their careers. Rotto has played in 131 consecutive matches for UNI since 2018, while Holterhaus has seen action in 97 straight matches since 2019.
- Inga Rotto ranks 7th all-time in UNI history in career sets played with 479, one set from passing Jill Arganbright and Molly O'Brien (2000-03) for 6th on the all-time list.
- Emily Holterhaus surpassed 900 career kills in the UNI Tournament last weekend. The junior outside hitter is 83 kills from reaching 1,000 kills as a Panther.
- Baylee Petersen is 13 digs shy of earning 900 in her career.
- Having notched 82 service aces at Texas and 11 so far this season, Sydney Petersen is 7 aces away from 100 in her career.
