UNI women's basketball sets date for Golf Gig for Aug. 20

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI women's basketball team has scheduled its annual golf gig.
The Panthers will host their annual golf tournament Aug. 20 at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls. The golf gig will be played in foursome best shots and will include lunch. Each team will be paired with a UNI women's basketball player through the golf gig.
Along with playing 18 holes, participants will receive flight prizes and be able to participate in a silent raffle. All proceeds raised during the golf gig will directly benefit UNI women's basketball including registration fees.
Registration for the annual golf gig is $90 per person. Golfers can also sponsor a hole for $120. Registration for a team and sponsoring a hole is $450. To register for the event or to sponsor a hole, contact Associate Head Coach Brad Nelson at 319-415-9815 or brad.nelson@uni.edu.
