UNI softball postpones doubleheader against Missouri State to Sunday

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --Â Due to poor weather conditions UNI softball is postponing its doubleheader against the Missouri State Bears.
A half an inch of rain and an inch of heavy wet snow in the Cedar Falls area has made field conditions at Robinson-Dresser Sports Complex unplayable for UNI's originally scheduled doubleheader against Missouri State. With partly cloudy skies expected for the rest of the day, Saturday afternoon will be used to get the field in playable condition for Sunday.
Saturday's doubleheader will be moved to Sunday with the first game scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Weather will dictate the length of the doubleheader as scattered showers are projected in Sunday afternoon's forecast.Â
