Panther volleyball announces spring schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI volleyball team has announced the slate of competitions for the upcoming spring schedule to begin in April.

The Panthers will play in three weekend tournaments and one additional Friday match next month, beginning with a Saturday slate against Iowa, Iowa State and Drake on April 2 in Ames. UNI will travel to Kansas City the following weekend on April 9 for competition at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While no schedule has been established for the Panther's trip to Missouri, the field of teams competing will include South Dakota, Missouri, Rockhurst, Creighton, Arkansas, Kansas, Saint Louis, Kansas State, Missouri-Kansas City and Iowa State.

UNI will face off with Wisconsin, the defending national champions on Friday, April 15 as the Panthers and Badgers meet at the University of Dubuque's Stoltz Sports Center. Admission for this match is free to the public.

The Panthers will wrap up the spring schedule at home on Saturday, April 23 hosting North Dakota State, Iowa State, Iowa and Missouri. All matches will be played on two courts at the Wellness-Recreation Center on the UNI campus.
