UNI wrestling's first home dual against Utah Valley postponed

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -Â Due to COVID-19 protocols within the Utah Valley wrestling program, UNI's first home dual with Utah Valley will not be held as scheduled next weekend.Â
UNI was set to open home dual action in the West Gym on Jan. 21 against Utah Valley. If schedules permit, the teams will try to reschedule, but Utah Valley also postponed this week's Big 12 Conference duals against North Dakota State, Air Force and South Dakota State. Utah Valley was to compete against Air Force today, which freed up the Falcons to host UNI last night in a dual. UNI took down Air Force, 27-11.
UNI is still set to host North Dakota State in the West Gym at 7 p.m. Jan. 22. Fans are urged to wear white. The team will honor former head coach Chuck Patten.Â
