Panther Swim and Dive to Compete in MVC Chamionships

St. Louis, MO - The UNI women's swimming and diving team are competing in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships this week. The Panthers will travel to Carbondale, Illinois where Southern Illinois will host the championships.

UNI is currently picked to finish fifth in the conference, as voted on by the coaches. The Panthers return three All-MVC honorable mention honorees from last season in Sarah Walpole, Mia Savicevic, and Anna Penning. Jayden Lovell also earned one MVC Diver of the Week honor this year.

Missouri State was picked to finish first, followed by Southern Illinois, Indiana State, Illinois State, UNI, Evansville, Little Rock, and Valparaiso.

The championship starts Wednesday, April 14th through Friday, April 16th. Fans will be able to track the action by downloading the Meet Mobile App and following @UNISwimming on Twitter.
