CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI volleyball team fell to the Ramblers of Loyola in 4 sets with scores of 18-25, 25-18, 24-26, 17-25.

Set 1: The Panthers started the opening set slow, trailing the Ramblers 2-6 before calling timeout. The Ramblers road the early momentum to a 25-18 set victory. The Panthers hit a -.940 with 7 kills, and 6 block assists.

Set 2: The Panthers led the set early and never looked back. Leading by as many as 7 the Panthers coasted to a 25-18 set victory. The Panthers hit .276 on the set with 14 kills with 2 aces and 1 block.

Set 3: The Panthers and Ramblers traded leads in the third set. The Ramblers moved ahead at the midway point, leading UNI 13-9 and extended the lead to 6 just minutes later at 16-10. UNI surged in the final points to tie the set 23-23 but it was the Ramblers who claimed the final point, winning 26-24.

Set 4: The ramblers moved out to an early lead but the Panthers were able to go on a 5-1 run to get back to within one at 11-10. The Ramblers would power ahead to take the set 25-17. The Panthers finished with 11 kills and 1 ace.

THE PANTHERS

UNI hit .118 for the match, recording 50 kills, 5 aces and 6.5 blocks.
Emily Holterhaus finished with 19 kills and a .289 hitting percentage.
Holterhaus finished with a team high 17 digs, recording her 9^th double-double of the season.
Tayler Alden finished with 40 of the teams 47 assists.

THE RAMBLERS

The Ramblers finished with 43 kills and hit .201 as a team.
Emily Banitt finished with a team high 14 kills and a .282 hitting percentage.
Jenna Appel recorded 35 assists.
Grace Hinchman recorded 23 digs
