WATERLOO, Iowa – The UNI women's tennis team fell, 7-0, to in-state rival and MVC opponent Drake at the Black Hawk Tennis Club in Waterloo on Friday.
UNI dropped the doubles point early. In singles action, senior Madeline Doherty fought against Daria Walczak, locking into a three-set battle. Winning the first set, 6-4, Doherty dropped the second, 3-6. Despite her efforts in the third set, she fell, 11-13 to Walczak.

The Panthers are slated to hit the road for two non-conference contests, facing Northern Illinois on Mar. 26 at 6 p.m. in DeKalb, Ill. and Chicago State on Mar. 27 at 3 p.m. in Park Forest, Ill.
