Tayler Alden Earns MVC Freshman of the Week

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference has announced Tayler Alden as the MVC Freshman of the Week. This is the second Freshman of the Week honor for Alden (February 16).

Alden led the Panthers to a 2-0 mark last week on the road against Southern Illinois. Alden finished the week with 80 assists, averaging 10 assists per set while recording 1.38 kills per set. Alden also added 10 digs, 7 service aces and 1 block. The freshman recorded 36 assists with 4 service aces in Sunday's match against Southern Illinois. Alden recorded 44 assists, 10 kills and 3 service aces in Monday's 5 set comeback.

Alden and the rest of the Panthers will be back in action on Sunday, February 28 when they host the Sycamores of Indiana State in the McLeod Center.
