THE SERIES
The Panther volleyball program has dominated the series record with the Salukis, holding a 60-12 all-time record. The Panthers have won 7 straight with their longest winning stretch coming from 1993-2012 when the Panthers won 41 straight.

THE PANTHERSÂÂÂÂ
 • UNI leads the Valley with a .196 team hitting percentage.
 • UNI averages 1.92 service aces per set, first in the Valley.
• Inga Rotto's .318 hitting percentage in Valley play ranks 3rd.
 • Three Panthers rank in the top 5 in the Valley in Service aces per set, Baylee Petersen 2nd (0.48), Kaylissa Arndorfer 3rd (0.43) and Kaylee Donner 5th (0.41).
• Emily Holterhuas's 104.5 points in league play ranks 4th.
• Freshman setter Tayler Alden earned MVC Freshman of the Week honors following her series with Missouri State. Alden finished with 17 kills, a .250 hitting percentage, 29 digs, six block assists, and 9.40 assists per set in 10 total sets.
• In Sunday's 3-2 loss to Missouri State, Alden tallied 46 assists, 12 digs and 10 kills, becoming the first Panther with a triple-douÂble since November 22, 2013.
• Alden needed just eight matches to record her first triple-douÂble, breaking Kara Galer's record for earliest triple-double by a Panther setter (1992). She is one of only seven players nationally with a triple-double this season (only freshman).

THE SALUKIS
• Southern's middle hitters, Imani Hartfield and Emma Baalman, rank 1-2 in the MVC in hitting percentage.
• Katy Kluge ranks sixth in the MVC, and 36th nationally, with a 5.15 digs per set average.
• Kluge has finished with at least 12 digs in each of SIU's eight matches this season, which includes four matches with at least 20-plus digs.
• Peyton Plant made her first career start at setter against Loyola on Feb. 8. Plant finished with 19 assists, six digs, two kills and an ace.
