
Panther Women Host Loyola

 The Women's Basketball team returns to the McLeod Center Feb. 19-20 to play Loyola-Chicago for the next round of back-to-back MVC games. The Panthers have not played on McCoy Court since Jan. 16, where they last played the Missouri State Lady Bears.
• The women's game on Friday Feb. 19 against the Loyola Ramblers, will not be broadcasted on ESPN3 but live stats and the ability to listen to the game will still be available. The game on Saturday Feb. 20 will be broadcasted on ESPN3 as usual.Â
• The Panthers played the Bradley Braves in Peoria, Ill. on Feb. 12-13, ending the MVC series in a split tie. UNI came out on top, 73-72, on Feb. 12, when Kam Finley nailed a three-pointer with one second remaining in the game. The Braves would take the second game, 78-63 after a long-fought battle by the Panthers.
• Kam Finley scored 25 points against the Braves on Feb. 12. She went 5-9 (55.6%) from the three-point line, 7-14 (50.0%) from the field and 6-6 (100.0%) from the charity stripe.
• Megan Maahs is No. 20 on the All-Time Scoring list with 1,038 points. She needs 26 points to take No. 19 from Cindy Harms with 1,045 points.
• Loyola swept the Evansville Aces on Feb. 12-13. They claimed a 79-64 win on Feb. 12 and outscored the Aces on Feb. 13 by 30 points creating a 61-31 win over Evansville.
• Ellie Rice led the Ramblers with 16 points on Feb. 12 and grabbed herself a double-double with 11 rebounds and Allison Day led with 16 points on Feb. 13. Freshman, Sitori Tanin scored 13 points and 9 rebounds on Friday and 11 points and 7 rebounds on Saturday, just shy of a double-double for both games.
• Karli Rucker is No. 9 on the All-Time Three-Point Field Goals Made list as a Panther with 140 for her career. Nicole Kroeger also joins Rucker on the list with 138 three-pointers made in the No. 10 spot.
• Megan Maahs is on fire from the free-throw line. She is on a 16-game free throw streak going into the series against Loyola.
• Karli Rucker moved up to the No. 10 spot on the All-Time Scoring list with 1,279 points. She needs 16 points to claim No. 9 from Kris Huffman with 1,294 points.
• As a team, UNI is ranked No. 15 for Free-Throws Made and No. 33 for Free-Throws Attempted. Individually, Megan Maahs is ranked No. 56, Bre Gunenls is No. 96 and Karli Rucker is No. 111 for Free-Throw Percentage.
• Loyola comes into the series with a 7-4 MVC record and a 9-6 overall record. UNI has a 6-5 MVC record and is 9-9 for the overall season. Loyola and UNI have both suffered losses from Bradley and Drake
