The Panthers:
- After three consecutive Missouri Valley Conference tilts on the road, UNI is back home this week to play Evansville and Indiana State. Both matches are scheduled for 6 pm.

- The Panthers have a 54-2 lead in the all-time series with Evansville with an unblemished 26-0 mark at home. UNI holds a 64-6 advantage over Indiana State featuring wins in 10 of the last 11 meetings overall.

- UNI is coming off a wild Saturday that ended with a 3-2 win at Southern Illinois. The trip included a cancelled flight Friday, a caravan of nearly 300 miles Saturday, and a 4 pm arrival in Carbondale for the match which was moved from 5 pm to 7pm due to the travel issues.

- The Panthers topped all MVC programs last week with 40 blocks. UNI collected at least 12 rejections in each of its three matches, and the 15 total blocks Saturday at Southern Illinois represent the best single-match total since tallying 17 stuffs March 27 at Bradley.

- Carly Spies dominated defensively last week by posting 24 blocks including 10 rejections Monday at Loyola and a career-high 11 stuffs Saturday at Southern Illinois. Spies is the first Panther with two double-digit outings in the same week or the same year since Ashten Stelken in 2008.

- Tayler Alden recorded the MVC's first triple-double of the season Friday at Missouri State with 28 assists, 11 kills, and 10 digs. Alden, who nearly had another one Saturday at Southern Illinois (28 assists, 16 kills, nine digs), owns two collegiate double-doubles and both came against the Bears.

- Emily Holterhaus notched back-to-back season highs with 18 kills Friday at Missouri State and 19 terminations Saturday at Southern Illinois. She averaged 3.71 kills per set last week while hitting .310 across three starts.

- Inga Rotto (110), Kaylissa Arndorfer (76), and Emily Holterhaus (76) are on consecutive contest playing streaks to begin their college careers. Rotto is also on a 35-match blocking streak dating back to last February.
- UNI returns 13 women that were with the program for the spring season including 2020-21 All-MVC honorees Emily Holterhaus (First Team), Inga Rotto (Second Team), and Tayler Alden (Freshman Team).
- Despite the challenges of the delayed 2020 campaign, the Panthers still qualified for the MVC Championship and made it to the league semifinals. UNI has earned tournament bids and semifinal berths for a league-record 36 seasons in a row.
