Jaclyn Spencer Named State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award Recipient

ST. LOUIS – UNI's Jaclyn Spencer has been named a State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award recipient as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
In order to be eligible for the award, the student-athlete must be in good academic standing, must demonstrate good citizenship through good sportsmanship and significant community service, and must participate in a sport, during the season of recognition. The Valley will recognize 10 student-athletes three times annually (fall, winter, spring), for a total of 30 honorees. Institutions select their State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award honorees.
Spencer has a 3.74 cumulative GPA while majoring in Elementary Education. The senior softball player has made multiple Dean's List and the Athletic Director Honor Roll. An active member in her community, Spencer has been a small group leader for Prairie Lakes Church High School Ministry and has coached travel softball. Spencer has assisted in many groups and organizations on campus including the Minority Student Athlete Leadership Team and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
