THE PANTHERS
- The Panthers have won 17 consecutive games inside the McLeod Center after going 16-0 in the 2019-20 season and 1-0 so far this season. UNI has gone undefeated in the McLeod Center three times, all under coach Jacobson (2009-10, 2014-15, 2019-20).
- Freshman Nate Heise and Bowen Born have seen early minutes in the first five games of the season. Heise has averaged 26.7 minutes per game while adding 5.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest. Born has shined early in his freshman season, starting all five games while scoring 12.6 points per game.
- With 676 career points at UNI, senior guard Trae Berhow ranks 80th in career scoring.
- UNI continues to add to the longest three-point streak in the MVC, now making a three-pointer in 663 consecutive games.
THE PHOENIX
- Green bay has taken care of the ball early in the season, recording only 5 turnovers against Marquette.
- Amari Davis was the HL Freshman of the Year and broke the program's freshman scoring record, but he sank his first career three-pointer in the second half of GB's matchup at #4 Wisconsin.
- Green Bay returns two starters from last season, senior PJ Pipes and sophomore Amari Davis, who also happen to be the only players returning to the roster who donned the green and white for the Phoenix.
- Josh Jefferson, a transfer from Illinois State in 2019- 20, is eligible for the 2020-21 season after sitting out last year due to NCAA Division I transfer rules.
