UNI Swim and Dive Travels to Western Illinois, Illinois State

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The UNI swim and dive team kicks off the new year with a trip to Illinois this weekend. The Panthers will travel to Western Illinois on Friday and Illinois State on Saturday.Â
UNI currently has a record of 9-3, while Western Illinois is 0-3 and MVC foe Illinois State is 2-2. The Panthers only three loses were to Big Ten competition.Â
The Panthers have found success in the pool and in the classroom this season. The team had 14 student athletes earn straight A's and had a team GPA of 3.56 in the fall.
