UNI Women's Basketball Announces 2019-20 Schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI women's basketball today announced the Missouri Valley Conference Schedule. Which begins and ends with cross-state rival Drake and includes a four-game homestand in January and February.
The non-conference schedule was released in July and includes five home dates and games against six major conference opponents.
The MVC slate starts with three consecutive road games. The Panthers open in Des Moines on Jan. 3 before traveling to play Southern Illinois (Jan. 10) and Missouri State (Jan. 12).
The first conference home games of the year are Evansville on Jan. 17 and Indiana State on Jan. 19. The Panthers next travel to Bradley (Jan. 24) and Illinois State (Jan. 26) before playing four straight games in Cedar Falls.
The homestand starts on Jan. 31 against Loyola before Valparaiso comes to town on Feb. 2. The next weekend includes games against Missouri State (Feb. 7) and Southern Illinois (Feb. 9).
UNI swings into Indiana for games against Indiana State on Feb. 13 and Evansville on Feb. 15 before returning to Cedar Falls for games against Illinois State (Feb. 20) and Bradley (Feb. 28).
The Panthers will head to Chicagoland for the final road trip of the season. UNI faces Valparaiso on the road on Feb. 28 before meeting Loyola on March 1.
The last regular-season game of the year pits UNI against Drake for a senior-day matchup in the McLeod Center.
Hoops in the Heartland returns to the TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Illinois for the fifth consecutive season on March. 12-15.
The Panthers return a pair of All-Conference honorees in Karli Rucker and Magan Maahs. Veteran head coach Tanya Warren, the winningest coach in UNI history, returns for her 13th year at the helm.
